Please read the following information so you can understand what we do with the information we gather from the Fairlaw website

Do you collect personal details about me?
If you’re just on the website to browse the information pages, then we do not collect any details from you. You may, however, be asked to provide information such as your name, postal address, email address and phone number when you do any of the following:

  • Fill in and submit our Online Claim Form
  • Send us a question via the ‘Ask The Expert’ section of our website
  • Establish email contact with us through the website

What does Fairlaw do with my personal information?
When you complete online forms or submit messages to us via our website, we will use your contact details to get back in touch with you and respond to your enquiry. We will do this by email, phone or post, whichever you prefer. Sometimes we may also use your personal information to send you emails about any changes or developments which relate to our services or the Fairlaw website. If you do not want us to send you these messages, all you need to do is click the ‘Unsubscribe’ link which appears at the bottom of each email.

Do you share my details with anyone else?
We respect the privacy of all our website visitors and will never sell or distribute your phone number, email details or address to any other organisation or individual. In accordance with the Data Protection Act, any personal details we collect from you will be used only by Fairlaw. As well as using this information to contact you, we may also analyse it to assist us in the continuing development of our marketing and legal services. We would like to reassure you that your details will always be kept private, confidential and secure and you will not be subjected to any unsolicited calls as a result of submitting your details.

Does Fairlaw store information on my computer? (‘Cookies’)
When you visit our website, our computer issues a small piece of information to your computer called a ‘cookie’. The use of cookies is very common in the computer industry and allows us to monitor how people use our site – we can see which sections are the most useful and how people search for the information they need. This is very important to us as it helps us to improve and refine our website and the services we provide to you.

What if I have any other questions?
Please contact us and we’ll do our best to answer your questions.
